EraseCraft is an image background remover that helps you separate a subject from its background without opening a desktop graphics editor. Upload a supported image, let the browser run the background-removal model, check the result in the preview, and download the cut-out as a PNG.
The tool is useful for creator thumbnails, profile photos, product images, social media graphics, presentations, and other designs where you need a subject on a transparent background. The working image editor stays at the top of the page so the utility is immediately available.
Image processing is performed by the browser-side application code. The application does not send the selected image to a KTools upload endpoint; the AI model and runtime files can still be downloaded from external CDNs when your browser needs them.

Large images may need more memory
Because the model runs in browser memory, processing time depends on your device, browser, image size, and whether the AI model is already cached. Very large images can require more available memory.

Does EraseCraft upload my image to a KTools server?
No KTools image-upload endpoint is used by the application. The selected file is passed to the browser-side background-removal process. The page can still download model and runtime assets from external CDNs when needed.
Is this background remover free to use?
Yes. The current tool has no sign-in or payment step and provides the background-removal workflow directly in the browser.
What happens the first time I use it?
Your browser may need to download the AI model files before processing begins. Later uses can be faster when those files are already cached.
Can I use the result for thumbnails or designs?
The tool produces a PNG cut-out that can be placed into other graphics and editing workflows. You are responsible for having the rights to any image you upload and for how you use the resulting asset.
Why does the preview show a checkerboard pattern?
The checkerboard is a visual indicator for transparency. It lets you see which parts of the image have been removed before downloading the PNG.
